Diwali

Today, when the year sevens went to tech the year sixes had to do research about Diwali and also create your own Rangoli pattern mine, didn't turn out how I wanted it. Miss Farr said that this is her favorite tradition, that's the reason we did it. I liked making my own Rangoli pattern because you got to choose how you did it and what colours. What I didn't like was getting the fact and writing it because it took about 20 minutes just doing that plus an extra 5 for the Rangoli pattern.

Task 5

Today I did task 5 for literacy. Harrison and I made this song because you had the choice to ever doing a painting, song or music. We thought it would be funny to make a song so we did. The best part of doing this was singing it because we had to do video after video. One time I would laugh and the next time Harrison. It took at least 5 times to do.

task 3

Today I did task three for literacy. For literacy, we are doing stuff about Banksy. I really liked doing this because I found out facts about him. He is 48 and has a nickname called Grafitti master from how good he is.

Task 2

In south London, a lot of graffiti and street art have been painted on buildings.

I think that the men that did the painting should have been arrested for not having permission but still doing it. But some have been arrested by the London art gallery and some buildings that they did were good and even the owner of the building said it looks good. I think that that they should have permission but they have to show the owner what it's going to look like.

League script

For the last three weeks, our class has been doing a script and this is my script. I really liked doing this because you get to chose a sport that you like to play. Half of the boys choose a tackle game. What I didn't like was that you had to redo the writing on your book if it wasn't good. I failed once and then passed.

Adding with different denominates

Today for maths we had to make a video about how to add with different denominates. I sat outside with Harrison because his Chromebook would keep lagging out. I didn't really like doing this because it took a long time to set up and what I was going to write.

Task one of paint in the city

Today my class did literacy, this was a really easy task. I found all the questions easy except number two, number two was the hardest because you had to go to page eleven and try to think about what it's trying to tell us. The easiest was the number four "would this work make people happy" and said yes if I was doing it.

Capture the flag rules

For the last week when the year 7s went to tech. We got to choose groups and my group was Harrison, Taj, Quaid, and I. I really liked doing this because you got to go out play before we did this, we went outside so we could understand the game. What I didn't really like about doing this was getting the videos on to the slide.

Coral Reef

Today we did a quiz and one of the answers has something to do with the coral reef, so we had to research about the Coral Reef. Doing this took a long time because you had to go from tab to tab. One fact I didn't know about Coral Reefs was that there are three different types.

How to play rugby league

NRL Rugby league

NRL was invented in December 1997 in Australia.

Rugby league takes 80 minutes to play for the whole game but it's played in 40-minute halves. When you play rugby league there should be 13 on the field. The positions are number 1 fullback, number 2 right-wing, number 3 right center, number 4 left center, number 5 left wing, number 6 five-eighth, number 7 half-back, number 8 left prop, number 9 hooker [my position], number 10 right prop, number 11 second row, number 12 second row and lastly number 13 lock forward.

The equipment is
1. One league ball
2. A pair of football boots
3. mouthguard
4. Headgear [if you want]

Rules of the game
At the start of the game, you kick at halfway or when a point is scored. When you pass the ball it needs to go backward, if it goes forward it will be a hand over for a forward pass. You can pass the ball as much as you want until you or someone in your team gets tackled. You need to tackle below the shoulders, if you tackle higher than the shoulders it's will be a penalty. From a penalty, you could ever kick it out on the full, take the tap and run or go for a kick-off a tee. There are six tackles on last if you get tackled on the sixth run it's a handover. you can kick the ball whenever you want to kick but it's better when you kick on last. When you get tackled you have to play the ball, play the ball is where you stand up place the ball on the ground, and roll it back with your foot to the hooker. The hooker should stand behind you when you get tackled. The hooker will pick the ball up and pass it to the five eight and he will pass again to the runner. If your team is on defense once someone has made a tackle you have to go back 10 meters or you will be called offside and it would be a penalty. when your team kicks the ball you need to be behind the kicker to be onside, once he has kicked it you can chase it. Penalties can be awarded if there is a foot trip, high tackle, or if you are offside. If you get tackled in your own goal it's a drop out to the other team. If you get held up before you put the ball down to score you go back five meters.

Aim of the game and how the scoring works

A try is worth four points, a conversion is worth two points conversion is when someone scores a try they kick over the post if they miss they still get the ball off the kick-off at halfway. There is a drop goal for one point and you get the ball again from the kickoff. The aim of the game is to get the most points.
