Water worries

Water worries

Water worries is like wasting water and running out of water. Because there is only limited water over the world.

People might need to line up to get water and wait for a couple of hours because of a
Earthquakes just to get a bucket of water that will be gone in one day.

There can be an earthquake or it might have not rained in a long time and they need it to
rain so they can get water. If they don’t have enough water they might have to move somewhere
else because they might run out of water.

Groundwater is another important source even though we don’t want to drink off the ground
because it would be gross. We are still using water that existed over a million years ago from
rivers, streams, lakes, and off the roof.

Water cycle.
The sun drives the water cycle and heats water in the ocean and rivers and lakes.
Some of the water rises into the air and becomes the water droplets in clouds.
Eventually, colder temperatures force the clouds to lose their moisture as rain, hail, or snow.
Some of this flows into rivers and lakes and then finally the ocean.
Some of it stays frozen as snow or ice for hundreds or thousands of years.
The rest of the water soaks deep into the earth where it becomes part of the groundwater
supply, some of which come to the surface through springs.

Some countries that already have serious water problems are trying new ways to
guarantee supply. In Saudi Arabia, a very dry place with a population of 29 million people.

Today I had to do a google doc about water worries and write all the stuff about water worries. What I liked about doing this activity was writing the facts down. What I didn't like about doing this was sitting for a long time.
