Turtles

Though the last few weeks Whenua has been writing about Turtles and because of Covid 19 school had to get closed and we had to do it at home and this is what I did.

Introduction, explain the life cycle of a turtle.

Turtles lay their eggs on the beach and the eggs hatch under the sand after about 6 weeks or 2 months in till they hatch.

Once the baby turtles hatch they all try to get to the water but they need to try and dodge all the predators as they can but some turtles aren't lucky because they get eaten and there only like two minutes old.

When they get the water they just about swim half the world and then swim back to where they were born when they're older to hatch more baby turtles and the adults leave and go somewhere in the world. When the baby turtles hatch they do the same thing like all the other turtles.

  1. Good start Kohen. I like how you have explained each part of the turtle life cycle. I wonder why they go back to where they are born to lay their own eggs?
To make your work BTB you could add more examples for each of your points or maybe talk about how turtles protect themselves against the predators trying to eat them.
    Keep up the great blogging!
