once upon a time Yusra Mardini was scared of the water until one day she put her toes into the water and decided to jump in with her heart beating fast she was scared then loved it and started to swim really strong and won all of her races and then she thought she was in a different word she could hear her heartbeat when she was 13 Yursa had problems that swimming couldn't solve, her country said war.
people were dying not just rebel fighters or government soldiers but regular people too. For the first year, they were safe in the suburbs of dermatitis the capital of Syria but finally, the fighting reached the outskirts of the city people around the area could hear bombs and gunshots.
Hi Kohen
ReplyDeleteYou have retold this story about Yusra really well. She really is a brave and courageous girl for all the things that she has done.
It must be a terrible place where she was living. She now lives in Germany with the rest of her family. It is good to know that they are safe.
She did so well getting to the Olympic in 2016. I can remember hearing her story then. I hope that she is able to get to the Olympics again this year in Japan.
Remember when you are writing to use Capital letter and full stops. Always after a full stop comes a Capital letter.
Until next time
Allie :)
Hey!
ReplyDeleteIt’s Matilda again from the SLJ! You made such a good start to the Summer Learning Journey but I haven’t seen any posts from you in a while! It would be really cool to see you come back and do a few more activities! Remember you don’t have to do the activities in order! You can have a look through them all and decide which ones you like the look of!

I’m hoping to see some posts from you soon!
